The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS is a well rounded folding electric bike with front suspension and seat post suspension, disc brakes and a small profile at an incredibly affordable price.

Power — 350 nominal watts, 500 peak watts

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike has an efficient hub motor with 350 nominal watts of power and 500 watts of peak power. This efficient motor helps take the sweat out of hill climbs without draining the battery.

Speed  — 23 mph

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike has a top speed of 23 mph, which can be reached using the throttle or pedal assist, making this a class 3 electric bike and therefore not legal to ride in some areas. 

Battery and Range — 36 volt 10.4 ah, 40 miles

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike runs on a 36 volt system and has a 10.4 ah battery for an estimated max range of 40 miles with pedal assist. The battery is located behind the seat post, which does make the Classic LS a bit back heavy since the motor is also in the back wheel. The battery can be removed for charging and storage.

Pedal assist sensor — Cadence sensor

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike is equipped with a cadence sensor that measures the rotation of the cranks. Like most cadence sensors, there is some delay from the time the rider starts and stops pedaling to the time the motor activates and deactivates.

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike has a no-name spring suspension that offers 60 mm of travel. It also has a seat post suspension with approximately 30 mm of travel to help smooth out the ride even more.

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike has a Shimano Tourney derailleur with a 6-speed cassette. It uses a Shimano SIS Index thumb shifter on the right side of the handlebars.

Brakes —  Mechanical disc

The Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike has mechanical disc brakes in the front and rear with 160 mm rotors. These brakes offer ample stopping powered the brake levers are equipped with motor inhibitors, which instantly cut power to the motor whenever the brake levers are depressed.

Starting at $1,099, the Green Bike Electric Motion Classic LS electric bike is well competitively priced and is aimed at those looking for an entry-level folding electric bike, but the Classic LS is anything but standard and actually offers some pretty good components. Also, Green Bike Electric Motion offers free shipping anywhere in the U.S., which is a nice savings. 

Who’s it for —  Those on a budget with limited space

This feels like a good choice for those who have a limited budget and limited space. The Classic LS would make a great first bike for those looking to explore the electric bike space, or as a second bike for those who already have one but need a spare. The Classic LS is best suited for shorter commutes, but the rear rack does add some extra functionality. The Classic LS is also a good pick for those looking for an affordable folding electric bike that can be stowed in the trunk of car or in a RV for those last-minute adventures.
