Moped Style

These bikes are much akin to their older relatives; the Moped. These bikes generally have fat tires and a compact frame design. There are some exceptions to the rules, but in general, these are the types of things we look for in a Moped Style.

The Outsider from Michael Blast is one of the cooler-looking bikes we've tested this year. The new frame is an aesthetic improvement from past generations, but all of the things we loved about the older version remain. Monday Motorbikes has created an Ebike for an inspired urban commute. The Piezo is the latest design from Monday Motorbikes and is now in final production testing at their manufacturing facility in Long Beach, CA. The Piezo reflects Monday’s heritage as an innovator of powerful Ebikes from as far back as 2015. The new Piezo adds a complement of well executed power system and RF technologies to the package. The Piezo is tall, with a spare industrial design and classic cafe racer proportions. The battery is housed under an aluminum enclosure and nestled into a tray fitted between the frame rails. The effect is a lowered center of gravity as the substantial battery drops into the tray. The seat is narrow and allows the rider to pull their knees into recesses on both sides of the enclosure. An adjustable mono shock maintains the spare proportions over the swing arm and through to the tail light and turn signals. Monday has added a comfortably padded, dual-stitched seat that is reminiscent of a baseball glove. The appearance is an invitation to ridel. While the bike looks motorcycle serious, it maintains excellent pedal geometry and presents like a bike.

The Michael Blast Outsider is a super groovy electric bike with a classic cafe racer look. The short wheel base means it rides like a stunt bike. And the extra wide slicks means it corners like a champ. Sure, it’s not the easiest e-bike to pedal, but who cares? The Outsider is all about the good vibes, and this ride has got plenty of them.

Well hello there, friend and welcome back to another episode Electrified Reviews! Today we’re reviewing Bintelli Fusion electric bike. The fusion rides like a moped, and kind of looks like one too. The massively powerful headlight is a welcome change from the lantern-bright nightlights we’re used to seeing. Right off the bat, Bintelli gets big points for this.

Today we are reviewing the AddMotoR M-66 R7. This is a moped style electric bike that is super fun to just cruise around on without even pedaling. Honestly, this is where the M-66 really shines. And we especially like the fact that this ride can comfortably carry a passenger on that big ol’ saddle. There’s even foot pegs so your friend doesn’t have to drag their toes. Nice touch, AddMotoR.
