The Wallke X3 Pro is a well rounded full suspension fat tire folding electric bike with an incredibly powerful hub motor and a W-PAS technology to greatly extend the maximum range.

Power — 750 nominal watts

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has a powerful hub motor with 750 nominal watts of power and 62 Newton meters of torque. This is a great hill climber and mud warrior.

Speed  — 28 mph

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has a top speed of 28 mph, which can be reached using the throttle or pedal assist, making this a class 3 electric bike and therefore not legal to ride in some areas. That being said, we were able to get this bike up to around 32 mph with pedal assist.

Battery and Range — 48 volt 14 ah, 60 miles

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike runs on a 48 volt system and has a 14 ah battery for an estimated max range of 60 miles with pedal assist. The battery is located inside the main tube, keeping it well hidden, and also safe from dirt and debris. The battery is locking and removable and can be charged separately from the bike.

Pedal assist sensor — Cadence sensor

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike is equipped with a cadence sensor that measures the rotation of the cranks. Like most cadence sensors, there is some delay from the time the rider starts and stops pedaling to the time the motor activates and deactivates.

Display — LCD

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike display is located on the middle of the handlebars with plenty of electronic feedback including speed, distance, battery level, wattage output and more.

Frame and weight — 6061 Aluminum alloy, 65 pounds

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike one frame size and three colors — green, silver and grey — with a curb weight of nearly 65 pounds. This is a bit above average in terms of weight for a folding electric bike, but the X3 does have full suspension, fat tires and a huge motor, all of which adds a few pounds.

Suspension —  Air suspension, 100 mm of travel

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has a no-name air suspension that offers 100 mm of travel. It also has rear suspension with approximately 30 mm of travel. This suspension does a good job at mitigating moderate shocks and can even handle some more extreme terrain since it’s air suspension compared to spring suspension.

Gearing — Shimano, 8 speed

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has a Shimano Altus derailleur with a 8-speed cassette. It uses a Shimano trigger shifters on the right side of the handlebars.

Brakes — Tektro, hydraulic disc

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has Tektro hydraulic disc brakes in the front and rear with 160 mm rotors. These brakes offer ample stopping powered the brake levers are equipped with motor inhibitors, which instantly cut power to the motor whenever the brake levers are depressed.

Warranty — 1 year comprehensive

The Wallke X3 Pro electric bike has a 1 year warranty on the battery and 90 days on the parts, but there is an option to upgrade to a 1 year warranty on parts for an additional $99.00.

Price — Starting at $1,999

Starting at $1,999, the Wallke X3 Pro electric bike is well priced considering the powerful motor, large battery with W-PAS tech, fat tires, full suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded derailleur and trigger shifters and full suspension. Wallke also offers free shipping to the contiguous U.S., which is a nice bit of savings.

Who’s it for — Adventurers with limited space

This feels like a good choice for those who love the outdoors and want an electric bike that can be used as a commuter but also a light trail rider. The full suspension and fat tires make this a relatively cush ride, and the included rear rack is a nice tough for carrying cargo. There’s a lot of small upgrades on this electric bike that add up to a pretty good bang for your buck. For those who need a full suspension fat tire folder, the Wallke X3 Pro is a good a contender.
