The Eahora XC100 is an affordable, entry-level electric bike with a well-thought-out design that also includes E-PAS technology to dramatically increase the range.
Power — 350 nominal watts, 500 peak watts
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has an efficient hub motor with 350 nominal watts of power and approximately 500 watts of peak power.
Speed — 28 mph
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has a top speed of 28 mph, which can be reached using the throttle or pedal assist, making this a class 3 electric bike and therefore not legal to ride in some areas.
Battery and Range — 48 volt 10.4 ah, 50 miles
The Eahora XC100 electric bike runs on a 48 volt system and has a 10.4 ah battery for an estimated max range of 50 miles with pedal assist. The battery is located in a good position on the downtube, keeping the center of gravity low and the bike balanced. The battery is also locking and removable, so it can be charged separately from the bike, and also has a USB Type A port to power accessories on the go.
Eahora also uses E-PAS technology which helps to recoup kinetic energy from the bike whenever the speed reaches 14 mph or greater, or if it is coasting downhill.
Last, but certainly not least, the XC100 uses Samsung cells for their battery, which are generally considered to be superior cells compared to other brands.
Pedal assist sensor — Cadence sensor
The Eahora XC100 electric bike is equipped with a cadence sensor that measures the rotation of the cranks. Like most cadence sensors, there is some delay from the time the rider starts and stops pedaling to the time the motor activates and deactivates.
Display — LCD
The Eahora XC100 electric bike display is located on the center of the handlebars with an independent button pad on the left side of the handlebars. This display has plenty of electronic feedback including speed, distance, battery level, wattage output and more.

The Eahora XC100 electric bike one frame size and four colors — blue, green, red and grey — with a curb weight of nearly 47 pounds. The XC100 is a bit lighter than the average electric bike, which typically weigh in at 50 pounds, which is particularly impressive given it has front suspension.
Suspension — Spring suspension, 100 mm of travel
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has a no-name spring suspension that offers 100 mm of travel. It also has compression adjust, preload adjust and lockout. This suspension does a good job at mitigating moderate shocks but it’s not well suited for extreme downhill trails or big air.
Gearing — Shimano, 7 speed
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has a Shimano Tourney derailleur with a 7-speed cassette. It uses a Shimano SIS Index thumb shifter on the right side of the handlebars.
Brakes — Mechanical disc
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has mechanical disc brakes in the front and rear with 160 mm rotors. These brakes offer ample stopping powered the brake levers are equipped with motor inhibitors, which instantly cut power to the motor whenever the brake levers are depressed.
Warranty — 2 year battery, 5 months parts
The Eahora XC100 electric bike has a 2 year warranty on the battery and 5 months on the parts, a very generous warranty for the price of the bike.
Price — Starting at $899.00
Starting at $899.00, the Eahora XC100 electric bike is affordably priced and the company also offers free shipping to the contiguous U.S., which also helps to cut down on the price.
Who’s it for — Commuters on a budget
This feels like a good choice for those who are just starting on their journey of electric bikes. Maybe you’re looking for your first e-bike, but aren’t looking to spend an arm and a leg to get out on the road. The Eahora XC100 is a fairly priced e-bike with well-thought-out components and would serve well as a commuter, or even as a light trail bike since it does have front suspension. The E-PAS tech will also help to squeeze out some extra miles from the battery, which is a huge bonus for such an affordable electric bike. For those looking for a bargain buy, the XC100 is definitely worth consideration.
