Cycleboard specializes in tadpole-style electric scooters (three wheelers with two wheels up front). This design allows greater stability and some models can carry a decent amount of cargo.
Works Electric is a machine shop based in Portland, Oregon. They specialize in hand-crafted precision "Rover" scooters and friendly direct customer service.

Evolve Skateboards was born on Australia's Gold Coast, Australia, through sheer passion for finding the ultimate endless wave feeling. After scouring the world for the best electric skateboard, Evolve was created out of the need for a machine that combines an aesthetic design with performance, resulting in the perfect link between snowboarding, surfing and all things carving on land.
Walnutt Technology is based in San Francisco and Hong Kong. They specialize in highly advanced and portable transportation technology, with a range of electric skateboard models that tend to be small and lightweight.
Miles Board was founded in 2018 and produces high performance electric skateboards. They have a wide variety of eye-catching models for every use case.
Inboard Technology was founded in 2014 and was originally funded successfully on Kickstarter, selling roughly 24,000 electric skateboards by 2016. The company appeared on SharkTank and later raised a whopping $8 million in funding, and everything seemed to be going well as they developed their next flagship product (called The Glider). This all ended suddenly in 2019 when Inboard Technology first announced a move from direct-to-consumer to commercial sales only, and then in November the company laid off all 24 employees and shut down. You may be able to purchase their products secondhand, but keep in mind there is no longer a company to support them!

We've enjoyed the units from them so far, and look forward to what they will be putting out for the foreseeable future. </p>
