At first glance, the Runabout.2 stands out with its colorful and sleek design. It comes with a few color options, such as Cream, Black, Pink, and Water Blue. We’re reviewing the Cream one today. The bike's structure, notably the 6061 Aluminum frame, indicates durability while maintaining a city-friendly aesthetic. The Kenda tires and the ergonomic saddle hint at the comfort one can expect from this Ebike. One thing to note before we dive into the rest of the review: we’ve got 2 upgrades here, which are the rear basket with bag, and the front rack. These are not standard features. 

Performance and Handling

• Motor and Speed: With its 750W motor peaking at 1040W, riders can expect dynamic acceleration and a comfortable cruising speed. Especially in such a utility package, this performance was pretty epic. 
• Battery and Range: Powered by a Samsung 52V 15Ah battery, the Runabout.2 impresses with its 55-mile range. Such a range is noteworthy for urban riders and those on longer adventures. We love to see Samsung cells here. 
• Shifting and Brakes: The 7-speed SHIMANO™ shift paired with the bike's hydraulic brakes promises responsive handling and secure stops. If you’re carrying any extra cargo, having the right gearing and the ability to control the bike more becomes paramount. 

Comfort and Ergonomics

• Frame and Seating: The aluminum frame is paired with an ergonomic and shock-absorbing saddle, ensuring comfort even on challenging terrains. The standover height and adjustable seat cater to a wide range of riders. The ride feel here was honestly pretty great, though adding a seatpost suspension would elevate the ride to a whole new level. 
• Display and Controls: The LCD provides real-time insights into your ride, while the dual-mode option - Normal and Sport - allows riders to customize their experience based on the situation. 

Additional Features

• Lighting: The inclusion of high-luminance headlights and integrated rear lights ensure visibility and safety during nighttime rides. This is not a light I’d seen before, and at 550 lumens, this thing is pretty epic at this price point. 
• Payload: A commendable payload capacity of 350lbs, with the rear rack supporting up to 100lbs, makes this Ebike a viable option for those looking to transport goods or even a passenger, or even a good passenger. 

What Could Be Improved

• Weight: At 65lbs with the battery, some riders might find the Runabout.2 on the heavier side, especially when maneuvering in tight spaces or carrying it. Not a huge deal for most people, but if you’re looking for portable and light, the Runabout.2 isn’t really that. 
• Accessories: While the bike comes with a range of features, additions like a bike cover, lock, and pump come separately, adding to the overall cost.
