Introduction:
Introducing the HovCart, a powerful and feature-packed Ebike that's perfect for riders who appreciate style, performance, and a contender as a car replacement! The HovCart, much like a Back to the Future DeLorean, will have you feeling like you're cruising through time. Setting you back only $2,000, the HovCart costs about 1/25th as much as a Delorian. So... it's already a bargain!
Motor:
Under the hood of the HovCart is a 750W 48V brushless rear hub motor that packs a serious punch. Whether you're racing Marty McFly to the clock tower or cruising through the neighborhood, the HovCart's torque of 85Nm will get you there on time. You can download the HOVSCO app and unlock Class 3 mode, which will give you a top speed of 28MPH, only 60MPH to go!
Battery:
The HovCart comes equipped with a removable internal lithium-ion 48V, 15Ah (720Wh) battery, which provides an average range of 40-60 miles per charge. One of the super unique features of the HovCart is the fact that there is a light built into the bottom of the battery, which can be used like a flashlight if needed. Definitely haven’t seen this before!
Frame:
Constructed with 6061 single-butted aluminum alloy and an internal battery, the HovCart's frame is both lightweight and sturdy. With a maximum payload capacity of 450 lbs, you can confidently carry groceries, work gear, or even 0.27 phone booths – you know, in case you need to make a call to the 1980s.
Suspension:
The HovCart features a suspension fork with 45mm of travel and a lockout option, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride even on bumpy terrain. The 20” x 4” tires have an aggressive enough tread to take on some rougher trails, and although I don’t see this getting much trail time, it’s nice to know you could make it through if you had to. The saddle here was super comfortable for me, and the fact you have less than a 20” standover height and a minimum saddle height of 35”, you could handle this Ebike, even if you’re a bit on the shorter side.
Brakes:
Safety is paramount on the HovCart, which boasts hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors in the front and rear. You'll be able to stop on a dime and save the day, just like MacGyver, with a paperclip and a piece of chewing gum. Did that work? I don’t think so, let’s edit that part out.
Extras:
Another cool HovCart spec is the integrated front and rear lights. The front light was actually pretty bright, and with it mounted up on the handlebars, you’ll have better visibility, and be seen easier from cars. The fenders are great, with lots of good mounting points to keep them from flapping around like a duck. Duck fenders are the worst! The rear rack was HUGE, compared to similar cargo bikes we’ve tested. And with a whole host of accessories that are ready to plug and play, this could turn from cargo bike to grocery carrier, to kid carrier, and back again. The family of accessories is one of the main reasons we keep calling this a car replacement.
Cockpit:
The HovCart's cockpit features ergonomic grips, which I actually really enjoyed. Some of my favorite ergonomic grips to date. The pseudo-BMX bars worked really well and made this thing a joy to cruise around on. The display was bright and gives you all sorts of ride stats! You'll feel like Captain Kirk navigating the USS Enterprise as you explore new frontiers on this Ebike.
Use Case:
The HovCart is suitable for any rider who a) loves pop culture references or b) wants a versatile Ebike for commuting, running errands, or selling that Kia that’s been parked out front this last year. With a top speed of 28MPH, the HovCart will have you zipping around town with the wind in your hair (or mullet).
Conclusion:
The HovCart by HOVSCO is a thrilling fusion of retro charm and modern technology. Its powerful motor, impressive range, and stylish design make it a fantastic option for riders who want both performance and flair. With a price that won't break the bank, a solid warranty, and a unique place in the market, the HovCart will have you feeling like the coolest kid on the block – no matter your age. Don't be surprised if you find yourself humming tunes from the '80s as you cruise through town, making waves with your one-of-a-kind HovCart Ebike. So, get your leg warmers and parachute pants ready – it's time to ride into the future!
