The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike is a comfortable and stable trike that’s perfect for cruising around town for errands, or just heading to the beach with a cooler full of drinks and food in in the massive storage basket.

Power — 750 nominal watts, 1,000 peak watts

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has a Bafang hub motor in the front wheel that can crank out a continuous 750 watts of power with the ability to ratchet things up to over 1,000 peak watts of power for hill climbs and quicker acceleration. This motor has 80 Newton meters of torque which also helps with accelerating and climbing hills, and comes in handy for muddy and sandy trails, especially for those trips to the beach.

Speed  — 20 mph

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has a top speed of 20 mph, which can be reached using the pedal assist, making this a class 2 electric bike. The M-360 can also be unlocked to reach higher top speeds, making it a class 3 electric bike.

Battery and Range — 48 volt 14.6 ah, 40 miles

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike runs on a 48 volt system and has a 14.6 ah battery for an estimated max range of 40 miles with pedal assist. The battery is located on the downtube just beneath the saddle, keeping the center of gravity low and the overall weight well balanced. The battery is also locking and removable, making it easy to charge separately from the M-360.

Pedal assist sensor — Cadence sensor

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike is equipped with a cadence sensor that measures the rotation of the cranks. Like most cadence sensors, there is some delay from the time the rider starts and stops pedaling to the time the motor activates and deactivates.

Display — Bafang, LCD

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike uses a Bafang display located on the center of the handlebars with an independent button pad located on the left of the handlebars. This is a good display with plenty of electronic feedback including speed, distance, battery level, wattage output and more.

Frame and weight — 6061 Aluminum alloy, 125 pounds

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike comes in one frame size and two different colors — lime green and orange. The M-360 is incredibly heavy with a curb weight of nearly 125 pounds. But, with that heavy curb weight comes serious strength, and the M-360 has a load capacity of 350 pounds for the rider, plus an extra 100 pounds for the rear rack.

Suspension —  Solid forks

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has solid front forks and no rear suspension.

Gearing — Shimano, 7 speed

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has a Shimano Tourney derailleur with a 7-speed cassette. It uses a Shimano SIS Index thumb shifter on the right side of the handlebars.

Brakes — Tektro, mechanical disc

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has Tektro mechanical disc brakes with a 180 mm rotor in the front and a 160 mm rotors in both rear wheels. These brakes offer ample stopping power, and because each rear wheel has its own brake, the braking is well balanced and the trike does not pull to either side when slowing to a stop. The brake levers are also equipped with motor inhibitors which instantly cut power to the motor whenever they are depressed, ensuring the shortest possible stopping distance.

Warranty — 1 year comprehensive

The AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike has a 1 year comprehensive warranty.

Price — Starting at 2,999

Starting at $2,999, the AddMotoR MOTAN M-360 three wheel electric bike is definitely expensive, but for those who want a stable platform with the ability to tow or carry a lot of gear, there’s few electric trikes on the market as cool as this one.

Who’s it for — Adventurers with stability in mind

This feels like a good choice for those who want to keep on riding and having fun but want a stable platform that’s fun and easy to ride. This is also good for those who need a high carrying capacity and ample power and range to get them to and from where they are going. The fat tires and suspension make this a good choice for riders who want to commute through the city, bu still want to have the option to hit the beaches as well.
